Privacy Policy

DoMyWork (domywork.co) is operated by SortED Solutions Pte. Ltd., 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422 (“DoMyWork”, “we”, “us”). We decide how and why your personal information is used, which makes us the controller of that information.

For any privacy question or request, email privacy@domywork.co.

This policy applies to everything on domywork.co, including:

• your DoMyWork account, and signing in with email, Google or Apple;
• orders and the Pro subscription;
• Plag Check, our Turnitin similarity and AI-detection reports;
• Grade Predictor, which predicts the grade of your work against your marking criteria;
• Join & Earn and our other partner programmes;
• messages you send us, and simply browsing the site.

We collect only what we need for the service you use.

Account details: your name, email address and, if you give them, your phone number, country, university, profile photo and similar profile details. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the basic profile details they share with us (such as your name and email address).

Orders: the instructions and files you upload, your deadline and academic level, messages between you, our team and the writer working on your order, and your order and payment history.

Plag Check: the document you upload, your name and email address, and your report.

Grade Predictor: the work, brief and marking criteria you upload, the details you enter (such as country, university, level of study, assessment type and word limit) and your result.

Join & Earn: the details in your application and, if we pay you, the payment details we need to do that.

Payments: your card or wallet details are entered on our payment provider's secure page and handled by them. We receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction details, not your full card number.

Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you use them, collected automatically to run, secure and improve the site. We use your IP address and time zone to show prices in your currency.

• to provide what you ask for: your account, orders, reports and predictions;
• to take payments, manage the Pro subscription and send receipts;
• to send you service emails and notifications, such as order updates, reports and results;
• to answer your messages and support requests;
• to keep the site and your account secure and to prevent fraud and misuse (for example, limits on free checks);
• to understand how the site is used and to improve it, including improving Grade Predictor as described in Grade Predictor: your files;
• to meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.

We do not sell your personal information.

Where UK or EU data protection law applies to you, we rely on these legal bases:

Contract: to provide the account, orders, reports and predictions you ask for, and to take payment.

Legal obligation: to keep tax and accounting records.

Legitimate interests: to keep the site secure, prevent fraud, understand how the site is used, and improve our services, including keeping Grade Predictor files to improve its predictions (see Grade Predictor: your files). We tell you about this before you upload, and you can object or delete your files at any time.

Consent: where the law requires it, for example for some cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.

To produce your report, your document is uploaded to Turnitin, which runs the similarity and AI-detection checks. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with Turnitin.

After your report has been emailed to you, we delete your document from our Turnitin account (including its Trash) and from our own storage. Your document is not added to any plagiarism database by us.

We keep the report itself, the file you download from the link in your report email, so we can resend it and deal with any support or refund request. Only authorised DoMyWork staff can access it. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing privacy@domywork.co.

The link in your report email works for 30 days.

Your files are kept private. We keep them for a year to improve our predictions. They are never shared or added to any plagiarism database, and you can delete them any time from your result page.

To produce your prediction, your files and details are processed by Anthropic, the provider of the AI model we use, acting as our service provider.

After your check, we keep your files privately for one year so we can improve the accuracy of Grade Predictor. Only DoMyWork and our service providers acting for us can access them. We do not sell them, publish them or share them with your university.

You can delete your files at any time from your result page. When the year is up, we delete them automatically.

Files you upload but never use for a check are deleted after 24 hours.

Your result stays in your account so you can come back to it.

We share information only with the people and service providers who help us run DoMyWork, and only what they need. They act on our instructions.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

We are based in Singapore and serve students around the world, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including Singapore, the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States. Where UK or EU law requires it, we use recognised safeguards for these transfers, such as the standard contractual clauses approved for this purpose.

Account details: while your account is open. Ask us to close it and we will delete or anonymise your details, except what we must keep by law.

Orders and payment records: as long as we need them to provide the service and handle questions, and as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Plag Check documents and reports: your document is deleted from our Turnitin account and from our own storage after your report is sent; your report is kept as described in Plag Check: your document and deleted on request.

Grade Predictor files: one year, or until you delete them, whichever is sooner. Unused uploads: 24 hours.

Analytics information: for the periods set by the analytics providers listed in Who we share information with.

Your rights depend on where you live. We honour the rights you have under your local law, including these:

United Kingdom and European Union: to access your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it (including keeping Grade Predictor files), and receive a copy in a portable format. You can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.

United States (including California): to know what personal information we collect, to access it, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.

Canada: to access and correct your personal information, and to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Australia and New Zealand: to access and correct your personal information, and to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner.

To use any of these rights, email privacy@domywork.co from the email address on your account. We may need to confirm it is you before we act. We reply within one month.

We protect your information with access controls, encrypted connections and secure cloud storage, and we give staff and writers access only to what they need. No system is completely secure, so if we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the authorities where the law requires.

DoMyWork is for students aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think a child has given us their information, email privacy@domywork.co and we will delete it.

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser's local storage) to:

• keep you signed in and remember your order form and settings;
• remember your region so we show the right prices;
• measure and improve the site, using the analytics and advertising tools listed in Who we share information with.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work without the essential ones.

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with its “Last updated” date. If a change affects you significantly, we will tell you, for example by email or on the site.
